Australia.- The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission <\/strong>(VGCCC) has hosted representatives from Cambodia\u2019s Commercial Gambling Management Commission<\/strong> (CGMC) as part of a study visit focused on strengthening cooperation and the sharing of regulatory expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Victorian regulator, the visit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge on casino regulation, compliance and enforcement, risk-based regulatory approaches, responsible gambling initiatives and Victoria\u2019s Public Lotteries licence framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VGCCC said there was an “open dialogue and knowledge exchange\u201d exploring opportunities to strengthen regulatory capability and the development of evidence-based gambling regulation. The visit forms part of the CGMC\u2019s study tour in Australia, aimed at learning from regulatory practices and exchanging experience on gambling oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n
