The initiative is intended to develop young talent while supporting the Macau SAR government&#8217;s responsible gaming campaign, which has the slogan &#8220;Learn RG, Keep the Fun Alive.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is being delivered with the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming at the <strong>University of Macau<\/strong> and the Association of Volunteer Social Service Macao. It&#8217;s intended to provide local university students with opportunities to combine academic learning with hands-on experience while building professional knowledge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 150 University of Macau students applied and 32 were selected. The project involves them developing responsible gaming initiatives from a youth perspective, producing projects focused on campus awareness campaigns, community education, gamified learning experiences, short-form video content and digital interactive tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/07\/1783956359933-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-777044853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/07\/1783956359933-800x600.jpg 800w, https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/07\/1783956359933.jpg 1448w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: Sands China.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To complement the programme, Sands China organised a <strong>four-day study visit to Singapore<\/strong> last month for a 23-member delegation representing the three partner organisations. Participants toured <strong>Marina Bay Sands<\/strong> and met with members of its operations team to discuss responsible gaming practices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The delegation also visited the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) and community support organisation WE CARE.
