The Philippines.- President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.<\/strong> has formally recognised the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) for its dividend remittance to the national government. PAGCOR ranks fifth<\/strong> among the country\u2019s 50 government-owned and controlled corporations after contributing PHP5.67bn (US$92.1m) from its 2025 profits<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marcos presented a certificate of recognition to PAGCOR chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco<\/strong>, and said that dividend payments from state-owned enterprises strengthen the government\u2019s ability to fund public services and development programmes. All public corporations must remit at least 50 per cent of net earnings<\/strong> under Republic Act No. 7656.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
