Presented by the Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) at the opening of the “Your Island. Reimagined” exhibition at VivoCity, the plan integrate Pulau Brani into Greater Sentosa, creating space for new tourism, hospitality and leisure developments.

The plan focuses on enhancing connectivity, expanding green and waterfront spaces and introducing new attractions while preserving the area’s natural and heritage assets. Flagship projects include the Island Heart, a transport and lifestyle hub that will serve as the main gateway to Greater Sentosa and improve transit between the mainland, Sentosa and Pulau Brani.

The master plan also includes the Ridgeline with canopy walks and nature-based experiences connecting Mount Faber to Mount Imbiah, as well as improved beaches, new entertainment offerings and public spaces designed for recreation and community events. A new Waterfront district on Pulau Brani will introduce large-scale attractions alongside expanded coastal and ecological areas.

The redevelopment will be delivered in phases over the next two decades, with the first major projects expected to open in the early 2030s.

Thien Kwee Eng, chief executive officer of SDC, said: “For more than five decades, Sentosa has welcomed generations of Singaporeans and visitors from around the world, growing into a place that holds precious memories for many and well-loved by all. It is, in many ways, a global Singapore brand.

“The GSMP is the greatest transformation in our history. We will stay true to the soul and identity of this island, while shaping the next generation of world-class experiences. Before any of it is built, we wanted to share this vision openly, invite Singaporeans to step inside it and shape it together.”

According to SDC, sustainability will be a central element of the redevelopment, with extensive blue and green spaces, ecological shoreline enhancements and environmentally conscious design. The authority said the transformation aims to create an island destination where people can “play, relax and bond” while balancing tourism growth with environmental stewardship.

Sentosa is home to Resorts World Sentosa, operated by Genting Singapore, which is undergoing a major expansion under a SGD6.80bn (currently US$5.25bn) investment programme.

   See also:

See also: Singapore visitor arrivals hit new low in May

The 20-year plan envisions new attractions, reimagined beaches and improved connectivity across Sentosa and Pulau Brani.

The Sentosa Development Corporation has unveiled a 20-year master plan for Greater Sentosa, aiming to double annual visitor numbers through new attractions, enhanced connectivity, and integrated development with Pulau Brani.
