The Australian regulator says the sites violated the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Australia.- The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has requested that online service providers (ISPs) block 12 more unlicensed online gambling sites<\/strong>. It says its investigations found them to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sites are 7Signs, ChromaBet, Donbet, Duospin, Freshbet, Slots Gem, Jacks Club, Lucky Start, Pointsbetz.com (imitating the licensed PointsBet service), Spinrise, Vinyl Casino and Wildsino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACMA says that since it made its first blocking request in November 2019, 1,751 illegal gambling and affiliate websites have been blocked. It says over 230 illegal services have also pulled out of the Australian market since the ACMA started enforcing rules in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month, ACMA found that\u00a0Special Broadcasting Service (SBS)\u00a0breached gambling advertising<\/a> rules during its live coverage of the Tour de France in July 2025 after airing a\u00a0Crown advertisement<\/strong>\u00a0at a prohibited time. Under the\u00a0Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice<\/strong>, gambling commercials are only permitted before play, after play and during scheduled or unscheduled breaks if shown during live sporting events between 8.30 pm and 5 am. <\/p>\n\n\n
