The state regulator, Liquor &amp; Gaming NSW (L&amp;GNSW), intends to open a public consultation on the Public Lotteries Regulation 2016, which is set to be repealed on September 1, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulation supports the operation of the Public Lotteries Act 1996 and establishes the rules and requirements governing lottery activities across New South Wales. The proposal is to retain most of the existing provisions with some minor amendments intended to remove outdated provisions and improve clarity, consistency and effectiveness.
