The city-state saw 1.24 million international arrivals in the fifth month of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Singapore.- International visitor arrivals to Singapore were down 9.7 per cent year-on-year in May to 1.24 million. It was the lowest monthly figure so far this year, and down from 1.33 million arrivals in April<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to data from the Singapore Tourism Board<\/strong>, overnight visitors decreased 11.8 per cent to 909,590, and the average length of stay remained flat at 3.58 days.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrivals from mainland China<\/strong>, traditionally the city-state\u2019s largest inbound tourism market, declined 15.4 per cent year-on-year to 204,640. The other top-five markets for inbound tourists were Indonesia (170,130), India (144,010), Malaysia (111,910) and Australia (83,510).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May\u2019s total takes the city-state\u2019s aggregate international visitor volume for the first five months of this year to 7 million, a 1.2 per cent year-on-year decrease. STB forecasts 17 to 18 million international visitors in 2026, with tourism receipts projected to reach S$31bn (US$24.4bn) to S$32.5bn (US$25.6bn).<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
