The sanction is connected to 11 violations linked to the fixing of three matches in 2024 and 2025, as well as refusing to cooperate with the ITIA investigation by destroying evidence.

The 24-year-old player, who reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of 896 in June 2025, initially challenged the charges before ceasing engagement with the disciplinary process. The case was ultimately decided by independent Anti-Corruption Hearing Officer Philippe Cavalieros following written submissions.

The suspension, which includes credit for time already served under provisional suspension, will remain in effect until August 18, 2031.
