Casino and hotel operations at Jeju Dream Tower pushed Lotte Tour Development to record first-quarter revenue of US$111.5m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

South Korea.- Lotte Tour Development <\/strong>has reported record first-quarter results for 2026, driven by continued growth at the Jeju Dream Tower integrated resort. According to the company\u2019s quarterly filing, consolidated revenue for the January-March period reached KRW156.2bn (US$111.5m), up 28.1 per cent year-on-year, while operating profit more than doubled to KRW28.8bn (US$20.6m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casino operations remained the key growth driver at Jeju Dream Tower, a foreigner-only integrated resort. Casino revenue<\/strong> climbed 40.3 per cent to KRW118.6bn (US$84.7m), supported by an increase in VIP activity<\/strong> and foreign visitation. Casino visitor <\/strong>numbers rose 37.3 per cent year-on-year to more than 150,000 guests, while the table drop increased 36.7 per cent to KRW573.9bn (US$410m). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotel operations<\/strong> also saw solid growth. Revenue from the Grand Hyatt Jeju reached KRW38.1bn (US$27.2m), up 20.2 per cent year-on-year, while occupancy increased to 75.9 per cent during what is traditionally considered Jeju\u2019s off-season. Foreign guests accounted for 73.5 per cent of hotel visitors during the quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lotte Tour Development<\/strong> said: “Despite concerns over the Middle East situation and the burden of the off-season, we confirmed record-high revenue and strong profit-generating power starting in the first quarter,” adding: “As the full-fledged tourism season begins, we expect a clear ‘quantum jump’ pattern in annual results this year.”<\/p>\n\n\n
