He has been acting CEO for six months since October 2025, when he stepped in following the <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/ainsworth-ceo-harald-neumann-resigns-after-rebuje-from-nevada-regulators\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">resignation of Harald Neumann<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comstock previously served as <strong>chief operating officer<\/strong>, a position he had held since 2018. According to the company, the board determined he possesses the \u201cnecessary attributes and experience gained across all operational areas of the company\u201d to lead the group on a permanent basis.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/05\/1749736583918.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-777041984\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ryan Comstock. Photo: LinkedIn.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>In its ASX filing, Ainsworth said the board considered Comstock\u2019s operational knowledge and initiatives undertaken during his tenure as acting CEO when making the decision.
