Flutter Entertainment has said the advertising restrictions in Australia strike \u201cthe right balance\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Australia.- Flutter Entertainment has welcomed Australia\u2019s newly announced gambling advertising restrictions<\/a>, saying the measures provide a balanced regulatory approach that supports player protection and the sustainability of the licensed market. The company said it sees the new framework as a proportionate response to concerns around gambling advertising exposure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe believe this strikes the right balance between safeguarding customers and allowing operators to continue offering sports betting products in a responsible way,\u201d it noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comments came as Flutter reported that its APAC business posted organic revenue growth of 2 per cent during the first quarter, driven largely by Sportsbet\u2019s performance in Australia. The company said it believes it is \u201cwell placed to build on its market-leading position\u201d in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n
