India.- The Gujarat Police Department <\/strong>has arrested a 37-year-old man<\/strong> for allegedly engaging in illegal online betting during an Indian Premier League (IPL)<\/strong> match at the Narenda Modi Stadium<\/strong>. The incident took place on Monday, April 20, during a match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Officers said personnel deployed for security and crowd management received a tip-off about suspicious betting activity being carried out by a spectator in the stands. Acting on the information, they identified the suspect in an upper-tier seating section and escorted him to a nearby area to be questioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police say the suspect was logged into a betting platform and had been placing wagers on the match as it progressed.
