Casino sales decreased year-on-year and month-over-month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

South Korea.- Paradise Co<\/strong> has shared its financial results for March. The operator has reported casino sales of KRW49.5bn (US$32.7m). That\u2019s a decline of 39.6 per cent year-on-year and 44 per cent from February<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table-game<\/strong> sales were KRW44bn (US$30.1m), down 43 per cent year-on-year, and a 47 per cent decline compared to the previous month. The table drop amounted to KRW587.74bn (US$401m), up 9.7 per cent on February but flat compared to a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first three months of 2026<\/strong>, cumulative casino revenue reached KRW229.67bn (US$158.8m), slightly above the KRW222.92bn (US$152.4m) reported for the same period in 2025, despite the weaker March performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paradise Co operates four casinos<\/strong>: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A planned new hotel in Seoul<\/a> has a target opening for 2028. The 18-floor hotel will have approximately 200 suites and five basement levels offering services for foreign VIPs as part of a strategy to attract more international high-rollers. The cost of the development is estimated between KRW500bn (US$360m) and KRW550bn (US$400m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paradise Co<\/strong>\u00a0has recently approved a new co-CEO leadership<\/a>.\u00a0Choi Jong-hwan<\/strong>, who has been CEO since March 2024, will be joined by former COO\u00a0Lim Jun-shin<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n
