South Korea.- Paradise Co<\/strong> has approved a governance overhaul under a co-CEO leadership<\/strong> structure following shareholder approval at its annual general meeting. Choi Jong-hwan<\/strong>, who has been CEO since March 2024, will be joined by former COO Lim Jun-shin<\/strong>. The company said the move is intended to improve operational efficiency and reinforce strategic decision-making through shared leadership responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paradise Co operates four casinos<\/strong>: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A planned new hotel in Seoul<\/a> has a target opening for 2028. The 18-floor hotel will have approximately 200 suites and five basement levels offering services for foreign VIPs as part of a strategy to attract more international high-rollers. The cost of the development is estimated between KRW500bn (US$360m) and KRW550bn (US$400m).<\/p>\n\n\n
