According to data from the <strong>Macau Hotel Association<\/strong>, the average nightly rate for five-star hotels fell to MOP1,560 (US$193.5), representing a 2.4 per cent year-on-year decrease. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Average five-star room rates increased slightly from January\u2019s MOP1,522 (US$189), but remained below last year\u2019s levels. Overall occupancy rose to 96.6 per cent, up 1.2 percentage points compared with the same period in 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the <strong>first two months of 2026<\/strong>, the average nightly rate for five-star rooms stood at MOP1,541.3 (US$191), down 2.7 per cent year-on-year, while occupancy averaged 96.2 per cent, up 1 percentage point.
