The Philippines.- International Entertainment Corporation (IEC)<\/strong> has announced the appointment of Brian Roger Mattingley<\/strong> as an independent non-executive director, effective yesterday (March 23, 2026). He brings more than two decades of experience in the gaming and entertainment sector, having most recently served as non-executive chairman of Playtech between 2021 and 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mattingley previously held senior leadership roles at Evoke Plc, where he served as CEO and later executive chairman, and at Beacon Entertainment, where he served as executive chairman. He will join IEC’s audit, nomination and remuneration committees. His appointment is set for an initial three-year term with an annual remuneration of US$80,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The changes follow the resignation of Cheng Hong Wai<\/strong>, who has stepped down from his position as independent non-executive director to focus on other commitments. Danica Ramos Lumawig <\/strong>has been appointed chair of the audit committee, while Mattingley assumes committee roles previously held by Cheng.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IEC said the move is aimed at strengthening its governance structure. The company announced its plans for a reopening event for the New Coast Hotel Manila in July<\/a>. The firm took over casino operations there in May 2024 and has since refurbished the complex, including the casino floor and several hotel rooms. Meanwhile, DigiPlus is taking a strong position in IEC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
