H.C. Charles Diao will join The Star from Bally\u2019s Corporation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Australia.- The Star Entertainment Group<\/strong> has announced the appointment of HC Charles (\u201cCharlie\u201d) Diao<\/strong> as group chief financial officer. Diao will join the company from Bally\u2019s Corporation<\/strong> in the United States, where he currently serves as senior vice president, Finance and Corporate Treasurer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The appointment, which remains subject to regulatory approvals and the granting of an Australian work visa, comes at a pivotal time as the Star continues to work to strengthen internal governance and long-term performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company has recently confirmed a series of executive changes aimed at reinforcing operational oversight. John Koster<\/a> has commenced as chief executive officer of The Star Sydney, while David Whimpey<\/a> has taken on the role of chief operating officer and interim CEO of The Star Brisbane. Meanwhile, Tom Boyd has been appointed interim Group chief legal officer, further bolstering the company\u2019s corporate governance framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
