India.- Eleven people have been arrested following a police raid on an alleged illegal gambling operation in Bareipali<\/strong>, in Sambalpur, Odisha<\/strong>. The police carried out the raid on Monday after receiving information about a suspected gambling den. Officers say they seized Rs 52,600<\/strong> (US$562) in cash, 11 mobile phones<\/strong>, and 52 playing cards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the police, four four-wheeler vehicles were also seized at the site. The suspects were taken in for questioning and later released on official notices. The investigation remains active as police continue to gather information about other individuals potentially involved and possible sources of the funds. Police urged the public to report any illegal gambling activities.<\/p>\n\n\n
