Construction on Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah has restarted following a pause caused by the conflict in the middle east.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

United Arab Emirates.- Wynn Resorts has resumed construction work on its US$5.1bn Wynn Al Marjan Island<\/a> integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, after a brief suspension amid the war in the Middle East. The operator said construction activities restarted on March 11 after it implemented enhanced security protocols and safety procedures for personnel working at the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ongoing conflict between Iran and the US and Israel has heightened security concerns across the region and led to partial airspace closures in the UAE. Wynn said it remains in close contact with authorities in the United States and Ras Al Khaimah to monitor developments and make operational decisions. The company expressed confidence in the UAE\u2019s defence capabilities and noted that economic activity in much of the country continues largely as normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe have confidence in the UAE\u2019s ability to keep its population safe,\u201d the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employees have also been offered the option to temporarily work from abroad if their respective embassies advise relocation. Wynn said the development timeline remains unchanged, with the integrated resort still expected to open during the first quarter of 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
