The figure was up 7.6 per cent year-on-year, and slightly surpassed the government\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-lawmakers-pass-budget-lowering-gaming-tax-revenue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2025 budget plan<\/a> forecast of MOP93.12bn (US$11.52bn).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gaming taxes remained the dominant source of government income, accounting for 82.7 per cent of the MOP114.64bn ($14.3bn) in revenue recorded in 2025. Under the 10-year concessions that came into effect on January 1, 2023, casinos pay 40 per cent on GGR.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) reported that Macau\u2019s gross gaming revenue (GGR) for 2025 was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-ggr-reaches-us30-9bn-in-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MOP247.40bn (US$30.9bn)<\/a>, up 9.1 per cent year-on-year.
