The Australian lotteries and keno operator will create three business units, each led by a new COO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Australia.- The Lottery Corporation has announced an overhaul of its operating model and executive leadership team as part of a strategy aimed at accelerating its transformation into a digital entertainment business. From July 1, 2026, it will have three customer-facing business units, Lotteries, Digital, and Keno, each led by a dedicated chief operating officer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Callum Mulvihill will become COO of the Lotteries division, focusing on expanding the company\u2019s core lottery product portfolio and maximising performance across retail channels and digital wholesale partnerships. Loren Somerville<\/strong> will be COO of the Digital unit, tasked with boosting online lottery sales, enhancing app and web experiences, and exploring opportunities in adjacent digital lottery entertainment categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Antony Moore<\/strong> will be appointed COO of the Keno division, bringing together venue-based and online Keno operations under a single leadership structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting the three customer-facing divisions will be enterprise services units covering Financial & Corporate Services, Strategy, and People and Brand, designed to provide governance and alignment across the organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the changes, chief financial officer Adam Newman<\/strong> will see his responsibilities expanded to include oversight of legal, risk, cyber, and technology services. He will also temporarily assume the role of company secretary beginning March 31 while the company searches for a permanent replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restructuring will also lead to the departure of two executives. Chief customer and marketing officer Andrew Shepherd<\/strong> will leave the company on July 1, while chief legal and risk officer and company secretary Nicholas Allton<\/strong> will step down at the end of March.<\/p>\n\n\n
