The new policy will take effect on <strong>March 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible female employees will receive an<strong> additional 20 days<\/strong> of paid maternity leave, up from the previous 70 days, while male employees will see their paid paternity leave extended <strong>from five days to seven days<\/strong>. The company said the initiative is designed to help employees balance their professional responsibilities with family life, while contributing to overall staff wellbeing and long-term job satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this month, the company announced that it has retained its\u00a0<strong>Top Employer certification<\/strong>\u00a0from the Top Employer Institute. It\u2019s the second consecutive year the company has received the international accreditation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Macau\u2019s largest private employer, Sands China has\u00a0<strong>nearly 28,000 team members<\/strong>.
