The decline was primarily due to a drop in travellers from mainland China and Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to data from the <strong>Singapore Tourism Board<\/strong>, arrivals from mainland China, traditionally the city-state\u2019s largest inbound tourism market, fell by 27.8 per cent year-on-year to 272,000. Numbers from Indonesia, Singapore\u2019s second-largest source market, fell by 13 per cent to 218,440.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, <strong>overnight visitors<\/strong> fell 7 per cent to 1.11 million. At the same time, the average length of stay decreased by 2.6 per cent to 3.43 days. The top-five markets for inbound tourists in January were mainland China (271,950), Indonesia (218,440), Australia (140,780), Malaysia (116,680), and India (86,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) reported that tourism receipts in Singapore reached a <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/record-singapore-tourism-receipts-from-january-to-september-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">record S$23.9bn (US$18.82bn) in the first three quarters<\/a> of 2025, up 6.5 per cent year-on-year.
