New Zealand.- Entain\u2019s Australia & New Zealand <\/strong>division is gearing up for a major push into New Zealand\u2019s online gaming sector. CEO Andrew Vouris<\/strong> said the company plans to secure several licences ahead of the market opening in December 2026 in order to operate across gambling verticals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vouris told the Australian Financial Review: \u201cWe\u2019re going to be the only operator in the market that\u2019s able to offer sports, racing and potentially casino. That is massive.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Zealand will introduce a capped licensing model with up to 15 online casino licences<\/a>. The bidding process is expected to open soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entain\u2019s 25-year agreement with TAB New Zealand<\/strong> means it already has a foothold in the market. With around 15 established online brands, including BetMGM and PartyCasino<\/strong>, it believes it can scale quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
