South Korea.- Paradise Co<\/strong> has shared its financial results for January. The operator has reported casino sales of KRW94.3bn (US$65.3m)<\/strong>, up 31 per cent year-on-year and 26.7 per cent from December.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Table-game<\/strong> sales were KRW89.2bn (US$61.8m), up 32.9 per cent year-on-year and 29.6 per cent compared to the previous month. Machine game<\/strong> sales were KRW5.09bn (US$3.5m), a 9.4 per cent increase year-on-year, but down 8.8 per cent compared to December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the full-year 2025, Paradise Co\u00a0reported casino sales of\u00a0KRW900.5bn (US$623.6m)<\/a>, up 9.9 per cent year-on-year. Table-game<\/strong>\u00a0sales were KRW846.3bn (US$585.7m), up 10.3 per cent, while\u00a0machine game<\/strong>\u00a0sales were KRW54.2bn (US$37.5m), a 4.1 per cent increase. The aggregate table drop was KRW7.15 trillion, up 4.1 per cent compared to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paradise Co operates\u00a0four casinos<\/strong>: Walkerhill in Seoul, Jeju Grand on Jeju Island, Busan Casino in the southern port city of Busan, and Paradise City, near the main international airport serving Seoul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A planned new hotel in Seoul<\/a>\u00a0has a target opening for 2028. The 18-floor hotel will have approximately\u00a0200 suites and five basement levels<\/strong>\u00a0offering services for foreign VIPs as part of a strategy to\u00a0attract more international high-rollers. The cost of the development is estimated between KRW500bn (US$360m) and KRW550bn (US$400m).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
