According to the group, support for reforming gambling advertising is gaining momentum across parliament and among the general public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members feel their concerns are not being heard and say a meeting with Wells is urgently needed to advance the reforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increasing pressure to tackle online gambling ads stems from a June 2023 committee report, chaired by the late Labor MP Peta Murphy, which recommended a phased ban on such ads alongside more than 30 other reforms.
