Two people have been arrested<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

India.- Bathinda Police have arrested two people accused of using a rigged gaming application. Jasbir Singh from Khairthal, Rajasthan, and Yahiya Khan from Jhirka, Haryana, were apprehended after police raided a hotel acting on a tip-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officers seized 13 mobile phones and two card-swiping devices. The suspects allegedly ran a mobile gambling scam in which users were lured with easy wins, only for subsequent games to be rigged against them. Once victims increased their bets, the gaming app was reportedly manipulated to produce losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators allege that the gang used counterfeit documents to facilitate money laundering and obscure the source of criminal proceeds. Bathinda\u2019s superintendent of police, Narinder Singh, said: \u201cWe have registered a case involving sections on cheating and forgery of valuable securities. While two main players are in custody, our teams are working to track down several other entities, including associates linked to Gurgaon-based firms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n
