Authorities have seized high-end vehicles in a series of raids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

India.- The Enforcement Directorate<\/strong> (ED) has carried out searches across nine locations in Uttar Pradesh as part of a money laundering investigation linked to a suspected illegal online betting network. The ED officials alleges that popular cricket YouTuber Anurag Dwivedi<\/strong> played an \u201cactive and deliberate role\u201d in promoting the platform through online videos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the federal agency, the raids in Lucknow, Unnao and surrounding areas resulted in the seizure of four high-end vehicles<\/strong>, including a Lamborghini Urus, a Mercedes-Benz, a Ford Endeavour and a Mahindra Thar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation originates from a First Information Report (FIR) filed by West Bengal Police, which alleges cheating, forgery and the operation of illegal betting portals from Siliguri. The ED has registered an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR). It believes a digital betting network was run via Telegram channels, mule bank accounts and encrypted online platforms by Sonu Kumar Thakur and Vishal Bhardwaj. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agency says it has identified high-value real estate investments in Dubai allegedly made using funds derived from illegal betting. It said that Dwivedi has been residing in Dubai and failed to respond to summons issued in recent months.<\/p>\n\n\n
