The cases emerged following operations conducted between November 10 and 21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some 13 are being investigated for illegal gambling under the <strong>Gambling Control Act 2022<\/strong>. Police say these suspects allegedly placed bets through illegal gambling websites or mobile applications and conducted financial transactions linked to syndicate-controlled bank accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The remaining 23 people are being investigated for offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1993, Penal Code 1871, and the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act.
