Momentum has reportedly launched TrueWin and Dream Island online casino and sportsbook platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

United Arab Emirates.- Momentum<\/strong>, the company operating the UAE\u2019s only licensed lottery, has reportedly begun operating online gambling via two platforms. According to Arabian Gulf Business Insight, TrueWin<\/strong> and Dream Island<\/strong> are live and accepting wagers<\/strong> despite a lack of any legislation to legalise online betting and casino gaming in the Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The casino offering reportedly includes live dealer games, poker, roulette and slots. The integrated sportsbook reportedly allows users to place wagers on major international sports, such as football, cricket, tennis and basketball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Momentum is the only company offering legal gaming in the Emirates through the UAE Lottery<\/a>. Yet, unlike the lottery\u2019s website, TrueWin and Dream Island appear to operate in a regulatory grey area and do not display licensing information from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority<\/a> (GCGRA), the UAE\u2019s gaming regulator established in September 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Records indicate that TrueWin.ae was registered in March 2023, while Dream Island was registered in 2020, well ahead of the GCGRA\u2019s creation.<\/p>\n\n\n
