The average wager per player reached <strong>HK$26,754 <\/strong>(US$3,430), a <strong>2 per cent increase<\/strong> from the <strong>Chinese New Year 2025<\/strong> holiday period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the bank, total premium-mass wagers rose 19 per cent year-on-year to HK$14.4m (US$1.85m),  a \u201cpositive surprise\u201d given that November is typically the slowest month in the fourth quarter. The number of premium-mass players was up <strong>by 5 per cent to 540<\/strong>. The average baccarat minimum bet rose <strong>5 per cent year-on-year to HK$2,112 <\/strong>(US$271). This was observed on a typical Friday, without any special tourism-related drivers such as concerts, events or festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The numbers support Citigroup&#8217;s earlier November GGR estimate of <strong>MOP20.5bn<\/strong> (US$2.56bn), an <strong>11 per cent <\/strong>increase from the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>High-roller activity also saw an uptick, with Citigroup reporting 31 whales in November, up from 21 in the same month last year. The average wager among high-rollers dropped to HK$216,000 ($27,690) from HK$268,000 ($34,360).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Player of the Month<\/strong>, who wagered <strong>HK$1.2m<\/strong> ($153,800), was identified at <strong>Wynn Palace\u2019s Chairman\u2019s Club<\/strong>. Other notable bets included HK$800,000 (US$102,560) at <strong>MGM Cotai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Galaxy Entertainment<\/strong> continued to dominate the premium-mass segment, capturing <strong>27 per cent<\/strong> of total wagers observed, up from <strong>21 per cent a year ago<\/strong>. Its two properties attracted <strong>eight high-rollers<\/strong>, the highest number among the six operators surveyed. MGM China achieved second spot with a <strong>23 per cent market share<\/strong>, up from <strong>13 per cent<\/strong> in November 2024.
