Tengco<\/strong>, PAGCOR chairman and CEO, said the agency provided 31,500 relief packs containing food and non-food essentials for distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFollowing the onslaught of <strong>Typhoon Tino<\/strong> in early November, we already turned over 15,000 relief packs worth PHP14.78m (US$1.8m) to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) in Regions 6 and 7 to help affected communities in those regions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another batch of 16,500 relief packs worth PHP18.07m (US$2.3m) is being dispatched to communities impacted by <strong>Super Typhoon Uwan<\/strong> in Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Aurora, Batangas, Bulacan, and Negros Occidental. The Senate of the Philippines also received relief packs for its outreach initiative.
