New Zealand.- SkyCity Entertainment Group<\/strong> has announced that the New Zealand Gambling Commission<\/strong> has renewed SkyCity Queenstown’s casino venue licence. According to a company filing on Tuesday, the 15-year-extension is effective from December 7, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SkyCity chief executive officer Jason Walbridge<\/strong> said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted with this outcome. We look forward to continuing to play our part in Queenstown\u2019s fantastic range of entertainment for both locals and visitors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SkyCity Entertainment Group owns and operates casinos, hotels and entertainment facilities in New Zealand and Australia. Last week, it announced has it had taken possession of the\u00a0New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC)<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0Fletcher Construction<\/strong>, marking a milestone in the troubled infrastructure project, which was originally slated for completion in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n
