United Arab Emirates.- Wynn Resorts expects up to two competitor casino resorts in the United Arab Emirates. The company\u2019s CEO, Craig Billings, said Wynn is well-positioned to capture a dominant share of the market through its Wynn Al Marjan project, the first integrated resort to win a licence in the UAE<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority’s interim CEO Jim Murren has previously said he expects up to four integrated resorts could eventually be licensed in the UAE<\/a>. MGM Resorts International has already submitted a licence application in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were factoring in two incremental competitors and a market that is US$3bn to US$5bn of GGR. We always tend to operate at a fair share premium,\u201d he told analysts during the company\u2019s third-quarter 2025 earnings call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billings highlighted the UAE’s \u201cvery robust local market, very high GDP per capita, and strong connectivity.\u201d The company has already launched targeted marketing efforts focused on direct player engagement, with campaigns expected to ramp up through 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Developed with RAK Holding, Wynn Al Marjan is set to open in early 2027 on Ras Al Khaimah\u2019s Al Marjan Island. Wynn\u2019s received a licence from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in October 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n
