Of these, <strong>152 were actively placing bets<\/strong>, with some reportedly wagering <strong>tens of thousands of times<\/strong>. The numbers were derived from the national betting database and licensed platforms analysed by investigators to uncover potential conflicts of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven elite S\u00fcper Lig referees are among those implicated. Those found guilty may face suspensions, lifetime bans or criminal proceedings. The integrity codes of FIFA and UEFA prohibit referees from having betting accounts. Hac\u0131osmano\u011flu said: \u201cWe are determined to clean our football from any shadow of corruption.
