{"id":777033278,"date":"2025-10-17T08:25:50","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T11:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/?p=777033278"},"modified":"2026-04-21T18:06:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T21:06:40","slug":"macau-casino-resorts-to-host-over-60-shows-in-fourth-quarter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/macau-casino-resorts-to-host-over-60-shows-in-fourth-quarter","title":{"rendered":"Macau casino resorts to host over 60 shows in fourth quarter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd continues to top the market, but numbers are down from the previous quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Macau.- <strong>Casino resorts<\/strong> in Macau will host <strong>more than 60 shows<\/strong> in the fourth quarter, marking <strong>a 38 per cent decline<\/strong> from the previous quarter when <strong>nearly 100 shows<\/strong> were staged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the total, <strong>22 shows<\/strong> will be presented in <strong>October<\/strong>, <strong>25<\/strong> in <strong>November<\/strong>, and <strong>20 in December<\/strong>. This does not include sports events and residential theatrical productions like <strong>Macau 2049 or House of Dancing Water.<\/strong> Most of these events will also take place at Cotai venues, such as <strong>City of Dreams<\/strong> and <strong>The Venetian Macau<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Galaxy Entertainment Group <\/strong>continues to top the market. The operator has scheduled 44 shows across its venues for Q4 2025, including <strong>Galaxy Arena<\/strong>, where five will be held, <strong>G Box at Galaxy Macau<\/strong>, and the <strong>Galaxy Auditorium of GICC<\/strong>, all situated on the Cotai Strip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shows that have been staged so far include an <strong>October 4 concert<\/strong> by Chinese singer <strong>Luhan<\/strong>,\u00a0and three concerts by Hong Kong pop star <strong>Jackson Wang<\/strong> from <strong>October 10-12<\/strong>. Galaxy Entertainment has <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/galaxy-entertainment-renews-partnership-to-host-entertainment-events-in-macau\">extended its deal<\/a>\u00a0with <strong>Damai Entertainment Holdings\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Macau Pass Holding\u00a0<\/strong>to host more cultural and entertainment events in the jurisdiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sands China<\/strong> has at least 17 shows planned for the fourth quarter, mostly at The Venetian Macao\u2019s <strong>Venetian Arena<\/strong> or The Londoner Macao\u2019s <strong>Londoner Arena<\/strong>.
