The Philippines.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has announced the launch of its Gender and Development (GAD) Digital Corner<\/strong>, dedicated to promoting gender equality, empowerment, inclusivity and diversity. According to the agency, the space features GAD-related content, including the news and announcements and details of laws, projects and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PAGCOR Digital Corner will be displayed as wallpaper on all office desktops with the new GAD logo and a QR code directing to the GAD Digital Corner website from October 16 to November 16<\/strong>, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis initiative highlights PAGCOR\u2019s continuing support to gender equality and inclusivity in the workplace, in relation to Republic Act No. 9710<\/strong> or the Magna Carta of Women,\u201d the agency said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this week, PAGCOR announced the donation of PHP141m (US$2.4m)<\/a> worth of Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs)<\/strong> to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO<\/strong>) for distribution to beneficiaries across the country. The donation covers 70 fully equipped PTVs <\/strong>that will be distributed by PCSO to qualified local government units (LGUs) to improve access to emergency medical transport and healthcare services.
