Macau.- Seaport Research Partners still expects October to see Macau’s strongest GGR of 2025 despite softer than expected Golden Week results. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The eight-day holiday this month saw average daily GGR down 11 per cent year-on-year to MOP910m (US$114m), analysts say. Despite a 16 per cent increase in visitation, per-visitor spending dropped 12 per cent to US$793.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nevertheless, Seaport says high-profile events and anticipated high-end player activity could drive October GGR to MOP 22.86bn (US$2.85bn). That would be a 10 per cent year-on-year increase and would make the month the strongest since November 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four days following Golden Week saw daily GGR above MOP730m (US$91.3m), boosted by a three-day concert by Hong Kong star Jackson Wang <\/a>at Galaxy Macau and an NBA weekend at The Venetian, Seaport said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Analyst Vitaly Umansky noted that while Golden Week GGR was up 17 per cent compared to Lunar New Year and down just 1 per cent compared to May\u2019s Golden Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first 12 days of October, Seaport estimates GGR at MOP10.2bn (US$1.28bn), averaging MOP850m (US$100m) daily. Umansky expects the remainder of the month to see an average daily GGR of MOP665m (US$83.1m), driven by high-end premium players who postponed Golden Week visits. Seaport forecasts double-digit GGR growth for November, December and into early 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n
