It conducted a raid on a luxury residential unit in Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur. It said the raid followed two weeks of intelligence gathering and public tip-offs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director-general <strong>Datuk Zakaria Shaaban <\/strong>said the 10 men and one woman aged between 20 and 40, used social media platforms such as Telegram and WhatsApp to target operations at overseas markets. The raid led to the seizure of seven Chinese passports, 11 laptops, seven mobile phones, three desktop computers, RM3,900 (US$922)\u00a0 in cash, and a box of condoms, authorities say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two men are accused of misuing Social Visit Passes, while five are said to have overstayed visas, and three men and one woman lacked valid travel documents. The suspects face charges under Regulation 39(b) of the Immigration Regulations 1963 for permit violations, as well as Sections 6(3) and 15(4) of the Immigration Act 1959\/63, for illegal entry and overstaying, respectively.
