That&#8217;s a decrease of 9.5 per cent year-on-year from 3,041 reports in the <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/asia-pacific\/gaming-related-suspicious-transaction-reports-in-macau-up-30-2-in-first-9-months-of-the-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">same period of 2024<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suspicious transaction reports across all sectors totalled 3,752 in the reported period, down 8.9 per cent from 4,118 in the first nine months of 2024. Gaming accounted for 73.3 per cent of all STRs, while financial institutions and insurance companies submitted 789 reports, representing 21 per cent. Other institutions filed 212 reports, representing 5.7 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>gaming sector\u2019s share of STRs<\/strong> decreased slightly from 73.8 per cent in the first nine months of 2024 to 73.3 per cent in 2025.
