Travellers International and Suntrust target a third-quarter 2026 launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippines.- The construction of Manila\u2019s Westside City <\/strong>integrated resort has reached 75 per cent completion, according to global consulting firm Arcadis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arcadis <\/strong>said it has finalised fitting-out work on key areas, concluding a 64-month engagement that began in May 2020. \u201cTogether, we have brought this landmark development to the brink of completion, overcoming unprecedented challenges along the way,\u201d said Joseph Atabug<\/strong>, project director for Arcadis Philippines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by Travellers International Hotel Group and Suntrust Resort Holdings, the Westside City resort is will be a new flagship property at Para\u00f1aque\u2019s Entertainment City. Suntrust recently acquired a 40 per cent stake in Westside Bayshore Holding Corporation. Travellers International president and CEO Nilo Thaddeus Rodriguez confirmed that the partners have committed up to US$450m in additional funding to help bring the project to completion for a 2026 opening.<\/p>\n\n\n
