The Philippines.- PhilWeb Corporation has announced the recall of the resignation of Edgar Brian Ng as president and director, stating that he would continue to serve his position \u201cwith immediate effect.\u201d Antonio Hernandez\u2019s appointment<\/a> as officer in charge was also recalled. Earlier this month, the company had said that Ng would step down as president and board member on September 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PhilWeb\u2019s filing to the Philippine Stock Exchange states: \u201cAmended due to the resolution of the Corporation’s Board of Directors to recall the appointment of Antonio Hernandez as officer-in-charge and, in lieu thereof, to confirm the continuation of Mr. Edgar Brian K. Ng as President and Director of PhilWeb Corporation and its subsidiaries, with immediate effect.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

According to his LinkedIn profile, Ng joined PhilWeb as senior vice president of operations in 2011. He held that position until 2020, when he was appointed president. From 2009 to 2010, he served as a managing director for Affinity Express Philippines, and prior to that role, he held the position of vice president at RR Donnelley Global Business Process OutsourcingRR Donnelley Global Business Process.
