The Philippines.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has held an awards ceremony in Pasay City for its 2025 Photography Contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s theme was \u201cInfrastructure for Economic Development\u201d. Nearly 4,000 entries from amateur and professional photographers competed under the Conventional, Mobile, and Drone categories. There were 24 winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alejandro Tengco, PAGCOR chairman and CEO, said: \u201cYour extraordinary talent shows us that Filipino creativity is world-class. While PAGCOR\u2019s primary duty is regulation, revenue generation, and tourism promotion, we are equally proud of advocacies like this that nurture talent and give Filipinos the platform they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tengco added that this year\u2019s photo contest theme \u201creminds us that infrastructure is not just concrete and steel, but lifelines of progress that connect families, fuel industries, and open doors to opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eight winners in the Conventional Category received PHP100.000 (US$1,753), while the 16 winners from the Mobile and Drone categories received PHP50.000 (US$877) each. Consolation prize winners in the Conventional Category were awarded PHP35.000 (US$614), while finalists from the Mobile and Drone categories received PHP20.000 (US$350) each.<\/p>\n\n\n
