United Arab Emirates.- The Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in Ras Al Khaimah is still expected to be completed in 2027. That’s according to the CEO of Marjan Properties, Abdulla Al Abdouli. The executive also told local news outlet Khaleej Times: “We are committed to delivering the resort by 2027, and it is on plan.”

“It is one of the biggest projects in the UAE and one of the most anticipated in the region,” he added.

The resort, a partnership with RAK Hospitality Holding, is under construction and a 70-storey tower has reached the 45th floor. The beachside property will be the tallest in Wynn’s portfolio and will have 22 restaurants, beach clubs, a marina, a spa and entertainment.

Al Abdouli said: “It will add 1,542 hotel keys and more than 22 F&B lounges and experiences. It will increase the number of visitors to the emirate. The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority aims to attract more than 3.5 million visitors by 2030. To achieve this, we need more hospitality keys and active investor participation in real estate, including hotels and apartments.”

“Supporting it requires residential units and apartments as well. Many businesses will be created there. It will be an integral part of Ras Al Khaimah’s economy,” he added.

Wynn has acquired an additional 70 acres of land in Ras Al Khaimah, for possible future expansion plans. The company hired 52 new team members in Q2, bringing the staff count to 100, primarily in senior executive, management, and administrative roles. Wynn aims to expand this to 330 by December 31, with a larger hiring phase planned for 2026, targeting over 7,500 jobs by the resort’s completion.
