Pakistan.- A judicial magistrate in Lahore has extended the remand of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai<\/strong>, for an additional three days, as the Federal Investigation Agency<\/strong> (FIA) continues its probe into his alleged promotion of illegal online gambling apps. The decision follows the completion of a two-day remand<\/a>. The FIA requested more time to recover evidence and finalise interrogations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rehman was arrested on August 17 at Allama Iqbal International Airport<\/a> and faces charges under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and the Pakistan Penal Code, including electronic fraud, forgery, and promoting unlicensed gambling platforms. Authorities claim the 27-year-old used his YouTube channel, which has 8 million followers, to advertise unregulated apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The FIA has summoned other influencers, including Iqra Kanwal, Muhammad Anas Ali, and Nadeem Mubarak<\/strong>, for questioning over similar allegations. Investigators are examining whether content creators knowingly endorsed fraudulent platforms or neglected due diligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A senior FIA official indicated the probe could expand, stating, \u201cThis is about more than advertising; it\u2019s about accountability for enabling financial scams.\u201d If intent to defraud is proven, influencers could face fines, content bans, or imprisonment. Some creators claim they were misled by third-party agencies offering promotional deals. Rehman is due in court on September 8.<\/p>\n\n\n
