Vietnam.- Sun Group <\/strong>has announced that its US$2bn casino and resort complex in Quang Ninh province<\/a> will be fully operational by the second quarter of 2032<\/strong>. According to an environmental impact assessment report cited by local media, the Van Don Integrated Casino & Tourism Complex will open in three phrases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is located on a 245-hectare site within the Van Don Economic Zone, primarily on forested land bordering the sea. The casino will feature 214 gaming tables and 2,140 slot machines, operating under a policy that permits Vietnamese citizens to participate. Beyond gaming, the complex will include high-end hotels and resorts over 30 floors, office buildings, a museum and various art and amusement venues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sun Group said the development will draw global travellers and Vietnam’s growing middle class. The project has a licence term of up to 70 years<\/strong> and is projected to generate over VND228trn (US$9.6bn) in contributions to Quang Ninh’s economy while creating around 6,000 jobs<\/strong>. It was approved in principle earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n
