The agency has supplied seven new vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Philippine.- The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has donated seven new emergency vehicles<\/strong> to local government units. The latest beneficiaries are Las Pi\u00f1as City and the municipalities of Tacloban (Leyte), Busuanga (Palawan), San Manuel (Tarlac), Mexico (Pampanga), Kibawe (Bukidnon), and Indang (Cavite).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAGCOR said the emergency vehicles are equipped with a GPS navigation system, ambulance stretcher, medical oxygen, wheelchair and first aid kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAGCOR chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco<\/strong>, who led the ceremonial turnover at the agency\u2019s corporate office in Pasay, said: \u201cThis is more than just a turnover of vehicles; it is about saving more lives. We hope to empower our LGUs to respond faster and more efficiently during medical emergencies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PAGCOR recently donated five vehicles to military units and a local government unit<\/a>. The recipients were the Municipality of Liliw in Laguna; the Army\u2019s 7th Infantry Division, Light Reaction Regiment and Fort Magsaysay Army Station Hospital, all based in Nueva Ecija; and the Headquarters Force Reconnaissance Group of the Philippine Marines in Ternate, Cavite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
