The daily average was 123,000 arrivals per day, and the peak single-day visitor count was 195,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macau\u2019s border checkpoints processed 41.01 million crossings in July and August, averaging 661,000 a day, up 8.5 per cent year-on-year. The Gongbei checkpoint saw the largest share with 52.7 per cent of all traffic. Mainland Chinese tourists made up 75.8 per cent of all visitors, followed by those from Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Macau\u2019s cumulative border crossings for the year have exceeded 150 million, reaching the milestone 23 days earlier than last year.
