Cambodia.- The casino operator and developer NagaCorp has shared its results for the first half of the year. It posted gross gaming revenue (GGR) of US$332.3m, up 17.2 per cent year-on-year. Overall revenue (with hotel-related income included) reached US$341.8m for H1 2025, up 15.5 per cent compared to the same period of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mass-market segment accounted for nearly 70 per cent of GGR. Revenue grew 20.9 per cent to US$232.1m. Mass-market table revenue increased 24 per cent year-on-year to US$161.9m, while mass-market electronic gaming machine revenue jumped 14.4 per cent to US$70.2m.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Premium VIP revenue rose to US$68.5m, a 13.5 per cent year-on-year increase on rolling volume of US$3.40bn, up 87.9 per cent from the January-June period in 2024. VIP revenue from the referral segment reached US$31.7m, up 1.9 per cent, on rolling volume of US$1.12bn, an increase of 36.3 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Net profit for the six months to June 30 was up by 68.9 per cent year-on-year to US$148.8m, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation climbed 38.5 per cent to US$200.3m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NagaCorp said the stronger results were thanks to a rebound in Cambodia\u2019s tourism sector, with international arrivals rising 6 per cent in the first half to 3.4 million, and air connectivity nearing pre-pandemic levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 30, Timothy McNally stepped down<\/a> as chairman of the NagaCorp board after more than 20 years following the company\u2019s 2025 Annual General Meeting. Philip Lee Wai Tuck has been appointed to the role. In a LinkedIn post, NagaCorp highlighted McNally\u2019s work: \u201cHis distinguished background, including nearly 25 years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has been an integral part of NagaCorp\u2019s journey.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n
