Macau.- MGM China and the Macao Gaming Industry Employees Home have co-hosted a themed training course titled Supporting individuals affected by gambling issues. The course was led by Pak Kin Pong, director of integrated services center of Macao Gaming Industry Employees Home, and covered key methods to provide support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It incorporated highlights from the newly published Public Guide to Supporting Individuals Affected by Gambling Issues. The initiative was part of MGM’s Responsible Gaming Employee Care Programme<\/a> launched in April. Other activities include roadshows and interactive games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, MGM China shared its financial results for the second quarter of the year<\/a>. Net revenue of HK$8.7bn (US$1.11bn) was up 8.75 per cent due primarily to an increase in casino revenue from main floor table games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The casino operator posted its highest quarterly adjusted EBITDA of HK$2.5bn (US$319m), up 6.1 per cent from the previous quarter and 4.2 per cent year-on-year. Adjusted EBITDA surpassed 2019 pre-Covid levels by 172 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n
